		<description><![CDATA[To meet the needs of our first artistic clients, Creativo Inc held a photo shoot to capture the essence of a local group, Compelled.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When we accepted the task of photographing an eleven member band, we knew we were in for an interesting night. With inspiration drawn from music and performance we collaborated with True Reflections to capture &#8220;live&#8221; shots of a local band, Compelled.</p>

<p>The shoot was planned by a team of representatives from Creativo Inc. and <a title="True Reflections" href="http://tr-inhisimage.com/" target="_blank">True Reflections</a> to meet the group&#8217;s online and marketing need. Jose served as the primary photographer and creative director, Christina took charge of wardrobe and posing, and Delmon served as a photographer and the lighting specialist.</p>

<p>To create a live performance feel, a studio was rented, various lights were mounted, instruments and props were set up, and multiple backdrops were hung. The goal was to capture the excitement of a concert and to mimic the changes in mood that music often inspires.</p>

		<description><![CDATA[The launch of our latest client's website marks the beginning of Creativo Inc.'s service to artists.]]></description>
			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Since our inception, Creativo Inc. has collaborated to meet the diverse needs of corporate and non profit clients. As we continue to grow and master our services, we have expanded our reach to include the unique needs that artists usually have. Our new endeavor helps artists communicate with fans and build marketability with so much more to come.</p>
<p>Our pilot client is <a title="Compelled Worship" href="http://www.compelledworship.com/" target="_blank">Compelled</a>- a thriving Christian praise and worship band. They came to us wanting to increase their online presence and to strengthen their marketing campaign. To help them achieve this goal we used our expertise in web design to create a site that reflects their heart and mission.</p>
<p>One of the first steps we took was to identify how they needed the site to function. As most artist&#8217;s, Compelled wanted to keep fans informed, post schedules, receive bookings, and share samples of their music; and they wanted it all on a simple and exciting landscape. We&#8217;re pleased to say we delivered.</p>
<p>Compelled&#8217;s new site features a blog inspired news section, an online audio and video album, and the ability for visitor&#8217;s to communicate quickly with the band. In the process of creating the site we also met their marketing needs by planning and capturing images at their photo shoot. Those images can also be found throughout the site.</p>
<p>We&#8217;re looking forward to working with more artists to showcase their work and talents. This is just the beginning of a new and exciting chapter in Creativo Inc.&#8217;s mission to help our clients reach their markets. &#8220;Calling all artists; its time to showcase your work!&#8221;</p>

What do you do?</strong></h3>
<p>I compose and review text to make sure it is accessible to all readers.</p>
<h3><strong>Why do you do what you do?</strong></h3>
<p>I have developed a passion for the critical thinking aspect of writing. What are you saying? Why are you saying it? I enjoy the clarity and the beauty thoughtful expression. One line can replace a thousand and never lose the purpose of the speaker.</p>
<h3><strong>What&#8217;s your background?</strong></h3>
<p>I was an English and Secondary Education major in undergrad and have completed print and non-print writing and editing projects.</p>
<h3><strong>How do you define success in your work?</strong></h3>
<p>One of the greatest indications is when I am able to meet a need the client didn&#8217;t even know they had. I also evaluate my success on how much I learned during a given project. I am most successful when I can deliver more than asked for and when the process has allowed for professional growth.</p>
<h3><strong>How do you ensure your work is successful?</strong></h3>
<p>I listen to what I am being asked to do. I take on every project as though it was my own dilemma and only give what I know I would want to receive. The golden rule. I also do research and collaborate with other artists. I just don&#8217;t ask for feedback, I apply it and use it as a stepping stone for excellence.</p>
<h3><strong>What work do you most enjoying doing?</strong></h3>
<p>I enjoy revising text. The difference between revising and editing is that revising allows me to add ideas and restructure others. This is where I can be creative and explore different approaches.</p>
<h3><strong>Where do you find inspiration?</strong></h3>
<p>I love watching series and movies with dialog. As I write or edit, I sometimes imagine how characters from shows like Mad Men, Boardwalk Empire, and Spartacus would articulate the content.</p>
<h3><strong>What is your dream project?</strong></h3>
<p>I would love to be a part of a marketing campaign for a large company. I excited about the opportunity to be a part of the research and the calculated planning and execution that will affect the masses. I think its a wonderful challenge and I imagine that its very fulfilling when your product becomes a success.</p>
<h3><strong>What wouldn&#8217;t you do without?</strong></h3>
<p>My laptop! Word, Google, Netflix.</p>
<h3><strong>What&#8217;s the best piece of advice you&#8217;ve been given?</strong></h3>
<p>Don&#8217;t guess.</p>
<h3><strong>What keeps you going everyday?</strong></h3>
<p>I&#8217;m still trying to figure this one out. I think it may simply be the Creator himself.</p>
<h3><strong>Any tips for other artist?</strong></h3>
<p>Do something everyday that exercises your talent. Don&#8217;t be afraid of what you don&#8217;t know. Confront it with questions to the appropriate people and your own efforts to master it.</p>

I am not talking about a new resolve to eat lighter and get to the gym 4 days a week. I am talking about business resolutions – specific actions and efforts you should take over the course of the next few months to strengthen your business, improve your customer’s experience, and strengthen your team in the year ahead.</p>
<p>Some of these suggestions are specific things to do to help increase business activity, other undertakings are meant to help you learn more about the current state of your business. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The homeowner wanted an accent wall in her formal living room, inspired by the HGTV’s Chicago Oasis home, she asked our artist to create a distinctive stencil for her home.  We starting by looking at our inspiration room and simplified the stencil.</p>
<p>The new design gave it a modern yet elegant look.  We took the same color as the wall and used a semi-gloss finish for the first layer.  After two coats of paint, each stencil received a hand painted shadow and gold highlight.   (See close up image)  This project, which started as a stencil, took on a life of its own and became chic hand painted mural.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Merrifield, VA &#8211; Online communications company Creativo Inc. brings better living for Latino and other seniors in the D.C. area one step closer through its new website for Vida Senior Centers. The new design enhances accessibility for seniors and their families in two languages, and with an informative, user-friendly approach.</p>
<p>The non-profit Vida Senior Centers came to Creativo Inc. seeking to bring their 41 year old organization into the 21st century. They wanted to present their programs and services in a way that would convey their warm and caring image. Together with editorial support from Vida’s Naomi Ayala, Creativo Inc. designed an inviting online presence that appeals to seniors, their families, supporters of the organization, and potential new clients, and is easy for all generations to navigate.</p>
<p>Creativo also recognized the special needs of Latino clients and reflected Vida’s particular assets by providing an easy-to-use online translator into Spanish on the website. The new streamlined design is friendly, unintimidating, and interactive. It meets Vida’s goal of building a community, and helping seniors discover the many services, programs and resources that Vida provides to enhance their quality of life.</p>
<p>Besides working with Vida to develop the online experience, Creativo Inc. also enhanced Vida’s ability to keep the site effective. Creativo installed analytics to monitor visitor activity so staff can see which pages are most useful to users, and implemented a simple but powerful content management system so that staff can respond to that use and easily update online material.</p>

<p>Fairfax, Virginia- September 9, 2010- The National Lime Association (NLA) has served for those in the lime industry since 1905. NLA provides resources and a forum where users exchange ideas and technical information common to the industry and promoting the lime. Last year, new goals were set to enhance their online presence with a revamped website. These goals included providing an aesthetically pleasing web environment, an easy-to-use navigation system, and an improved administrative management portal. With these goals in mind, Consulting Creativo began the process of planning, development, and the deployment of an innovative website.</p>
<p>To accomplish the NLA’s goals, Consulting Creativo first addressed the sites infrastructure by implementing a new streamline Content Management System (CMS), which now allows the staff to easily maintain the website. A statistical tracking system was put in place to monitor the use of the site by visitors. This new tracking system highlights high-traffic sections, frequently requested pages, and entry and exit pages. In the future, this information will help the NLA understand what information is important to its public visitors and members in order to better personalize the high value content that is posted within each section of the website.</p>
<p>The overall look of the site has been transformed into a clear and modern look, which lends to a better understanding of the important information that the Association shares. Great efforts were taken to create a clean, slim, and standard compliant backend development to ensure cross browser and cross-platform compatibility. This allows fast loading and a consistent branded look and feel throughout the site for the majority of visitors. New database driven dynamic content has been implemented within selected sections to provide the ability to perform quick searches or filters of information allowing an organized and cohesive look and feel.</p>
<p>As the NLA continues its work, the new site will serve as a reflection of the Association’s growth and commitment to providing relevant information to its members and the public. The work that Consulting Creativo has done will allow the site to develop to meet the present and future needs of the Association and will serve as the stepping stone for future online success.</p>

For the past ten years, we have worked with the National Hispanic Corporate Council (NHCC) to help them reach various business goals. This year, we are pleased to have met the Council’s new President, Pat Martinez.</p>
<p>The NHCC’s mission is to provide best in class solutions and foster professional networks by maximizing the Hispanic market opportunity among Fortune 1000 corporations. With this mission in mind, Pat’s vision is for the NHCC to effectively communicate with members, non-members, and Corporate America alike. To do this, Consulting Creativo has helped to create engaging communications which include engaging e- newsletters to increase event registration and to keep members abreast with the Council’s activities. We were also commissioned to create an updated and interactive website. The new site features a clean, sleek design that is both inviting and informative for viewers.</p>

Having worked with Pat, we were able to build trust and to collaborate creatively. In the end, the results were clean and exceeded many of our own expectations. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The America against Poverty ad campaign was launched in an effort to bring awareness back to the poverty that the U.S. Census Bureau says is affecting 39.8 million people in America. With all the attention that foreign nations are receiving, we can sometimes get sidetracked from the issues that concern our communities. This campaign is a call to action for Americans to not turn away from the world, but to focus on our domestic issues as well.</p>
<p>The red stripes of the American flag against the black background was meant to highlight the pain that runs through our country; The housing market crash has placed thousands of homes in foreclosure and their inhabitants without proper home and shelter. Katrina victims are still displaced. The job market is stalling and the unemployment rate continues to climb. The white symbolizes the changes we can make when we take the time to “help our own.” The movement of the flag represents the action that we can take to address poverty in America. As we work together, the hopeful shade of blue will return to our flag, a symbol that we are truly ready to bring change to the world.</p>
